The 15th edition of Caprices Festival will take place once again this April in the Swiss-French alps of Crans-Montana.

The first names announced for the event, which runs from the 12th-15th, are Sven Väth, Ben Klock, Paul Kalkbrenner, Henrik Schwarz, Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Paul Ritch, Patrice Baumel, Cobblestone Jazz (live), Archie Hamilton and Monika Kruse.

In-house party MDRNTY is celebrating its 10th year in 2018, and will be bringing together all the artists who have represented it over the years. These include Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumont and Sonja Moonear.

Says Director of Caprices Maxime Léonard of these bookings: “You have to imagine that the music these artists were playing was much more niche back then. They did not fill rooms of 10,000 people like they do now. We had the dream of reliving the experience again and again, to combine nature, the mountains and the modernity of this music, which gave a really special meaning to these meetings.”

As always, Caprices also provides plenty of skiing and snowboarding in the beautiful resort, and this year attendees can expect “a focus on brand new stages and production; plenty of advanced video mapping and immersive audio visual technologies.“
